To put the clan on another subject .......
What weapons have you used? We are playing a military style game so I thought this may be a good question to put peoples mind back on the game.
Here is my list of what I could remember, although some of the terms may not be 100% as it was not today I used them.
C1 SMG - small sub-machine gun using blow back action and was a bitch for us lefties as we had to fire from our right shoulder to keep the ejected casing from hitting us in the face or going down our tops. Almost shot in foot when an idiot next to me on the range turned sideways while firing. Rounds hit between mine and the range coach feet.
C6 - the pig. A general purpose machine gun much better than the M60 in the game as the C6 is accurate enough to cut down trees with.
FNC1 - standard rifle, 7.62 that fired semi-auto only
FNC2 - auto version used as a light machine gun
Lee Enfield Mk 4?? (not sure of number) converted to 22 cal and used on indoor range
C7 - Canadian Version of M16
Nine Mil - pistol, I think it is a Browning, 13 round mag.
Grenade - I believe it was similar to the M67. Only used them twice. Last time the newb in the tower that was supposed to walk us through step by step with our first grenade forgot to tell us to duck. Luckily neither myself or the bay coach trusted him and counted the time ourselves or we would have been standing exposed when it blew. Second grenade that day we totally ignored the tower and did our own thing.
M72 - one shot throw away light anti tank weapon. Really did not want to test in the battlefield against a tank as I had serious doubts that it would do anything more than let the tank crew know I was there. Best used for lighter armoured vehicles or MG nest.
Carl Gustav - recoilless rifle for use on armoured vehicles. Best used as a two man crew weapon and did a good job on the ranges against the old tanks. Great for bunker busting.
Trip Flare - simply a device mounted somewhere with a wire running from it. You could use a loose wire or tight wire and when someone came through the area, put the correct pressure on the wire the flare would go off letting you know they were there and if they happened to be looking at it blinding them for a few seconds. If mounted on a wooden object such as a tree then you just started a fire.
Para-flare - a bright burning flare that slowly drifted to earth due to the parachute it was attached to. When you suspected or knew for sure that the enemy was attacking your position and you wanted to shed some light on the battlefield you would fire these into the air.
T-Flash - big bank and bright light
Arti-sim - loud whistle followed by big bang - just like artillery dropping on you.
Think that covers them all. Now back to the game for bit.
